2 Day Crop - November 20-21, 2010

We will be having a 2 day crop at the Scrap Trap on Friday, November 20th from 6pm - midnight and Saturday, November 21st from 9am - 6pm. There are still 8 seats available as of today. On Friday we will order in Quiznos and on Saturday we will be having a potluck lunch. The fee is $10.00 and it will be donated to the James River Humane Society. All seats must be prepaid.

Reminder: 20% off one item ends on October 30th.

Just a reminder about the 20% off coupon you received in your email. It expires October 31, 2009 but you really only have until October 30th to use it as the store is closed on Saturday this week.

October 24th: Dill Blossom 8X8 Album Workshop for those already signed up. 9:30am - done

October 31st: Store will be closed

November 7th: Cards 'n Tags Make and Take $5 per person. Sign up in advance so we know
how much paper we need to cut. There will be different stations to work at.

November 14th: Kid's Club Limit of 10 participants. This will be the first meeting and it will
last 5 months with each person making a new project each month. $10-$12 a
month with each receiving a different tool for scrapbooking each time.

November 20th-21st: 2 Day Crop Friday 6pm - midnight We will order Quiznos for supper.
Saturday 9am - 6pm Potluck for lunch. $10 per person to hold your spot which
will be donated to the James River Humane Society. Limit of 12 spots.

Just a reminder that Card of the Month Club meets on Monday, October 12th at 6:30pm.

Haunted House Mini Album Workshop

We are having a Haunted House Mini Album workshop at the store on Saturday, October 10th. It is $18 per person. We will have 2 samples for you to see but thought that you would enjoy designing your own with the materials given to you. We are using Bo Bunny's Boo Crew paper line and the chipboard album is from My Little Yellow Bicycle. The store opens at 9:00am so you can come in anytime after that. We can potluck lunch or order in for lunch. A picture of our samples will be posted soon.

Tri-fold Envelope Mini Album Workshop

We will be offering a Tri-fold Envelope Mini Album Workshop on Saturday, September 26th. You can stop in anytime from 9am to noon to start working on this project. The last start time will be at noon as it takes about 2 hours to complete. The teacher for the class is Kim Lunde. The cost of this workshop is $5.00. Please RSVP if you are coming to scraptrap@gmail.com so that there are enough supplies ready for you to complete this project.

Card of the Month Club

Just a reminder that Card of the Month Club is on Monday, September 14th at 6:30pm. Deb Struble is the hostess. Looking forward to our first meeting! Hope all the members can attend. We are working with Basic Grey's new Indian Summer line for these cards. They are sure to get you excited for Autumn!

Prima Flowers

This past week we got a small shipment of items for classes but they had an item that I ordered that was on backorder. I laughed and laughed when I saw this tall canister filled with all different colores, shapes and sizes of Prima Flowers and thought to myself what was I thinking when I ordered this. But alas I've come to love that canister of flowers. They are $11.99 plus tax and they will look great on all your cards and scrapbook pages. Check them out!

Dill Blossom 8X8 Album Class

This is a great way to start scrapbooking. If you are new or even if you are old to scrapbooking this is a fabulous album that can be done in just over an hour. It helps you learn how to place things on a page, use different embellishments, and at the end of the class you will go home with a completed 20 page 8X8 album that all you'll have to do is add pictures. If you have thought about getting your children involved in this great hobby this is a good starting point. The cost of the class is $12.00 it includes the album kit and a box of adhesive squares. We will be having it on Sunday, October 18th at 1:00pm at the Scrap Trap. We will have 12 spots available so please stop in and prepay the class by September 18th, 2009 as that is when we are ordering the kits. If you can't come and just want the kit we are happy to order it for you.

Basic Grey Explosion Box Class

Please watch your emails for a copy of the Basic Grey newsletter in the next week. I will forward it so you can see the product. The class is $27.00 per person. I will require a deposit of $15.00 per person to order your kit. At this time I have planned to have this on September 12th at 9am at the Scrap Trap if for some reason the kits do not ship in time I will let you know. Sorry I am unable to post the picture so you'll have to wait for that newsletter.

Crate Paper's Little Sprout Line

Finally we have something new in the store! Yesterday we got in a shipment of new stuff. In the box was some packs of Crate Paper's Little Sprout. It is a fun and whimsy collection geared towards babies/young children. We also got in the Lillian paper pack from them also which has birds and flowers.

POTM Club

Just a reminder that Page of the Month Club is on Monday, June 29th at 6:30pm. We will be working with Basic Grey's Wisteria paper line. The theme is "Empty Nest" but I've changed mine to "Someday When the Kids Leave the Nest". Glory is our hostess this month. See you all on Monday!

Queen & Company Felt Daisies

Today the UPS man brought us these delightful felt daisies. They come in blue, yellow, orange, white, black, lime, light pink, hot pink, and purple. A nice little tidbit to add to those fun summertime pages! Excellent price point of $1.29 a pack.

New Items Just In

On Friday we received the new Playday Collection pack and matching rub ons. They are so cute with all the animals on them. It seems like every company is bringing out a line with zoo animals on them.

These would be fun for a baby album, a trip to the zoo or even some birthday party pages.

SMOOCH!

What a fun new product this is. It is a pearlized ink in a cute little nail polish bottle. You use it to enhance your stamping projects. The thing that I like about it is that the brush is so easy to use and you can get into small little corners to add color. It is a really nice accent ink and I've been reading on a lot of blogs that you can use it on not only paper but metals and pottery to add color too. It comes in 8 colors with more colors to be released in the next few months along with the new Smooch Mist!

Fairy Castle Album

Looking for a fun little girl album? We have Kaiser Craft's Fairy Castle Album in at the store. There have been a few people that have made this album up already and used lots of glitzy stickle on it. And it is a fun gift to give the child, teen, and fairy godmothers in your life.

Sakura Park

For those of you that love the Kaiser Craft products in our store we will be receiving on either Friday or Monday the new Sakura Park paper line. This order also has some new "Beyond the Page" albums and even a recipe book holder. Check them out while they are in stock! And be on the look out this fall for a Kaiser Craft Class. Basic Grey Card Kits

Our order for the new Lime Rickey and Wisteria card kits went in today. This means by Friday, May 29th, they should be in the store. Come in and check them out if you have time. They are so easy to make and fun to send to a special person in your life.
